ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

ON JUNE 28, 2012 THE ALL-RUSSIAN INSURANCE ASSOCIATION IS HOLDING THE 10TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INSURANCE INDUSTRY IN MOSCOW 

 

A congress of the All-Russian Insurance Association (ARIA) attended by chief executives of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) was held in February 2012. The Association was instructed to prepare proposals which will be the foundation for a new insurance development strategy. The Conference is attended and supported by Ministry of Finance of Russia and FFMS will become a milestone in this process.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE

The primary purpose of the 10th Russian Insurance Summit is becoming a platform for conducting a public dialogue with the authorities on the most complex problems of insurers and for receiving the positive and directing signals from the authorities in order to determine the vector of market development.

PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE

Discuss recommendations and proposals prepared by the All-Russian Insurance Association for the new insurance development strategy that should replace the current one in 2013.

THE MAIN TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE IN 2012

Key vectors of the Russian insurance development strategy:

  • Life insurance development;
  • Prospects for further the development of medical insurance;
  • Improvement of insurance practices through regulation, control and monitor insurance mechanisms ;
  • Increasing  insurer reliability and sustainability, further development of  business transparency;
  • Creation of guarantee funds for critical and socially important types of insurance.

Chief executives of ministries, federal services, Russian and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies, professional insurers’ associations, major international experts and analysts in the fields of insurance, economics and finance are invited to take part in the Conference.
